“SAINT CYRIL'S"

This piece was really fun to create because it has several meanings. At first glance, this painting looks architectural in nature, but look more closely! Do you see two figures (heads) engaging in conversation? What do you think they are talking about? Are they friends, lovers or, are they simply sharing a good bit of gossip?

Another idea I explored was the figurative nature of rock formations found in the US Southwest, and in a region of Greece, where rock pillars reach into the sky for several hundred feet. (For fun entertainment, watch the James Bond oo7 movie “For Your Eyes Only!”)
