“MONTEROlO"
An Abstract Vision of an Italian Village
Inspired by a visit to one of the five villages making up the stunning Cinque Terre, “Monterolo” is a one-of-a-kind original acrylic painting - an abstract exploration and interpretation of that stunning area. The architectural and cubist feel of this work represents the steep cliffs, dramatically placed buildings, and salty breeze wafting in from the Riviera.
This multi-layered painting measures 36 x 36 inches, and showcases a palette of warm grays, glowing golds, cool splashes of blue, energetic reds, resulting in a dynamic composition that exudes a real force of nature.
Measuring 47 x 48 inches (outside dimensions), “Monterolo” is presented on an elegantly modern uniquely handcrafted, “Signature Frame.” The artwork’s presentation is enhanced by suspending the painting above an ebonized stained oak panel and is attached to it using four brushed silver-finish metal standoffs that floats the painting off the background, liberating it from the constraints of an ordinary, traditional framing style, making it an integral part of this artwork.
Signed by the artist and accompanied by an exclusive certificate of authenticity, "Sunny Day in Venice" is not just a painting - it is a piece of the artist himself.
